WALK THIS LAND
South America was the start of my backpacking career and sparked the wanderlust for me. Rich in natural beauty as well as cosmopolitan cites and culture, South America has something for everyone. The iconic Machu PIcchu, Iguazu Falls and Christ the Redeemer are must-see's but there's so much more to see and do if you have the time to really see South America. The diversity of the people as you move from the cities to the country and across borders will amaze you. From Rio where the women strut the beaches in thong bikinis, the traditional farming people of Peru in their al Paca through to the native Uros people living on floating islands of Lake Titicaca. You'll leave South America with a taste for it, from the colourful, electric atmosphere of Carnaval, clubs and football games to the feel of the soft Iguazu spray on your face, and if you hadn't already you'll feel the bite of the travel bug.
